The Shane Geoghegan Trust will be running a Street Games initiative in 3 venues across Limerick. The Street Games initiative is about creating ‘Doorstep sport’. There are distinct barriers for children to participate in sport, ranging from lack of resources to social perceptions. It is hoped that the Street Games projects will help break down these barriers and get young people into sport.
This programme is fully funded by the Shane Geoghegan Trust and invites local children to participate in a range of sports and physical activities within their community.
Please see below for venue details and dates and how your child can take part in this fun programme.
